Los Altos Mariachi Arts Council is a nonprofit organization with a mission to promote, elevate and preserve the mariachi music genre, Hispanic culture, and the arts. The organization brings awareness about mariachi music to communities through educational initiatives such as workshops, concerts and festivals throughout the United States. A central focus is to support women in mariachi music as well as empower leaders of new and established mariachi organizations and students through mentor programs and workshops.

 

The events and festivals organized through this nonprofit will establish resources to create a stage for mariachi music as well as Hispanic cultural arts throughout our community.

Our goal is to provide opportunities for mariachi organizations to have a platform to showcase and promote mariachi music at its finest through concerts and festivals, as well as provide mariachi education opportunities to individuals who do not have access to top caliber mariachi musicians and mentors due to location, financial means, or lack of exposure.
